River Thames Charters has teamed up to provide Opera on the River events on the upper reaches of the River Thames with leading opera company, Opera Anywhere

They are now able to offer river charter packages incorporating a fabulous selection of arias from some of the country’s leading opera artists.

“Opera on the River” is a perfect addition to a visit to Henley Festival, Henley Regatta or Henley Fringe Festival.  Also, an ideal venue and theme for a wide range of occasions e,g, a wedding carriage, birthday celebration , hen party, corporate entertaining etc

“Opera on the River” with Sea Saga, as seen at Henley Regatta 2nd July 2011

Your party of between 10-12 guests will be collected from an agreed point and welcomed aboard Sea Saga by the crew before enjoying a leisurely cruise around the Henley area for approximately 2 hours.  Two Opera Anywhere artists would then perform popular arias and songs whilst you soak up the atmosphere of beautiful River Thames before returning to disembark.
